How to Play Krillion
Seven prompts a day, one attempt, and a simple rule: common answers float, rare answers sink.
What is Krillion?
Krillion is a free daily trivia dive game. Every day, all players worldwide face the same 7 prompts and have roughly 15–20 seconds to type one answer per prompt. The twist: common answers float while rare answers sink — your score depends on how few people type the same word you do.
Core rules at a glance
- 7 identical prompts per day, worldwide, same order.
- About 15–20 seconds per prompt; a blank or timed-out answer scores 0.
- 1 point = 10 metres of depth. 700 points = 7,000 m — the Trench Floor (Perfect Dive).
- The Daily Dive allows exactly 1 attempt per day; Unlimited Classic and themed packs are unlimited practice.
💡 There is no penalty for a mediocre answer — only for an invalid one. A safe 30-point word beats a rejected 0.
Ocean depth zones
| Depth | Zone | Score | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–200 m | Sunlight Zone | 0–20 | The crowd layer — answers nearly everyone typed (e.g. "Dog"). |
| 200–1,000 m | Twilight Zone | 20–100 | Slightly uncommon but widely known picks. |
| 1,000–4,000 m | Midnight Zone | 100–400 | The high-score region begins — answers few players reach. |
| 4,000 m+ | Abyssal / Hadal Zone | 400–700+ | Ultra-rare legal answers; 7,000 m is the Perfect Dive. |
Beginner tips
- Specific beats general: "Axolotl" sinks far deeper than "Dog".
- Typos sink dives: a misspelled word is rejected and scores 0.
- The 10-second rhythm: spend 10 seconds climbing past your first two ideas, lock in pick #3 or #4, then spell carefully.
