Krillion Strategy
Guess smarter to dive deeper every day.
The rarity ladder drill
Never submit your first thought — that is exactly where the crowd floats. When a prompt appears, build a 3–5 rung ladder in your head and climb it before the clock bites.
- Bird prompt example: Pigeon (rung 1) → Hawk (rung 2) → Penguin (rung 3) → Heron (rung 4) → Cassowary (rung 5).
- Rung rule: reach rung 3 or deeper within 10 seconds, then commit to a word you can spell correctly.
- Higher rungs only pay if the word is valid — a misspelled Cassowary scores 0, not 100.
Specific beats general
The more specific the noun, the less it repeats across millions of players. "Axolotl" sinks far deeper than "Dog"; a named species, brand or place almost always outranks its generic parent category.
Never risk a zero
- Timeout or blank answer: 0 points.
- Typo outside the accepted word list: 0 points.
- Valid word that misses the prompt category: 0 points.
- Unsure about a rare word's spelling? Drop back to a safe rung-2 or rung-3 pick.
💡 A mediocre answer beats an invalid one every time — one rejected word can sink an entire dive.
The 10-second rule
Use the clock deliberately: seconds 0–10 climb the ladder past the obvious answers; at second 10 lock in your final candidate; spend the last 5–10 seconds spelling it carefully and submitting.
- Practice the rhythm in Unlimited Classic — it never affects your daily score.
- Themed packs (Movies, Geography) train ladder speed inside one category.
